Are Driverless Trucks a Thing of the Future?

The CEO of one of the world’s largest freight companies believes that, within the next ten years, technology will make it possible for semi-trucks to be driverless. If that is so, other complimentary factors will have to be considered like a designated lane on highways and keeping a person available for safety purposes and loading and unloading.

The CEO of the Nordic region’s biggest road transport company, DSV A/S, predicts the trucks he relies on can start operating without drivers within the next five to 10 years.
