New NASCAR partnership

A huge part of logistics and shipping comes from cars needing to be transported and one branch of that is NASCAR. NASCAR is a huge friend to the transportation industry and they have recently proclaimed their official hauler, creating an even larger partnership between the two companies, Mack and NASCAR.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Mack Trucks announced here it has become the new official hauler of NASCAR and will provide a fleet of custom-designed vehicles to help transport gear from track to track.

The announcement of the multiyear deal was made here Feb. 16 during Daytona 500 media day.

“Mack and NASCAR are two fundamentally American brands, and we couldn’t be more excited to join forces and serve as the ‘official hauler of NASCAR,’ ” said John Walsh, Mack’s vice president of marketing. “This partnership enables us to get Mack, our trucks and our technology in front of millions of NASCAR fans, a significant number of whom are part of the transportation industry.”

As part of the agreement, Mack provided a fleet of custom-designed Pinnacle sleeper models that will travel thousands of miles throughout the 36-race, 10-month season.

Support for the fleet of Pinnacle models will be led by Transource Truck & Trailer Center, a Mack dealer with seven locations across North Carolina.
